Good Morning North High Redhawks

Today is Thursday, March 13, 2025 and here is your student bulletin.

Interested in being part of the Pando Next Gen Program for 2025-2026 school year, come and see Ms. Sanchez in F109. To learn more about what Pando is and the opportunities available with the program. 

Attention students: Are you thinking about graduating early? If you are a current sophomore or a current junior, you may be eligible for this opportunity. Please stop by your academy to pick up an application, which lists the requirements. Applications are due back by April 1st.

"Tryouts for the Redhawk Cheer squad will be Saturday, March 29^th, Clinics to learn the tryout material will be the week after Spring Break: March 24-25 and 27-28. If you're interested in trying out, come pick up a packet in Academy 2. Go Redhawks!"

Hello current sophomores and current juniors! Are you interested in being a Teacher Assistant or Office Proctor next year? If so, please pick up an application in your academy. There are several requirements so make sure to look over the application carefully. Teacher Assistant and Office Proctor applications will be due Friday, April 4^th.

Interested in participating in one of Wichita's largest volunteer opportunities? HALO has a team for the yearly Ark River Cleanup 2025 on Saturday May 3^rd at 730am. Stop by F109 in Ms. Sandra room to register.

Seniors! Graduation is just a few months away, so it is time to choose speakers for our commencement ceremony.  Be a part of this important rite of passage by auditioning your speech Today, MARCH 13^th, at 3:20pm in the North High Auditorium.  See the information in your student email or see Ms. Hansen in F103 for more information.

If you are interested in careers in cosmetology, join the March Career Lunch & Learn! Crave Beauty Academy will be here.  It will be on Wednesday, March 26^th during lunch.  You can sign up on the Counseling Page of the North website or go to Academy 4.  Space is limited to the first 20 people.  Pizza will be provided.

Seniors, Your senior quotes need to be turned in by the end of the day today!. Posters are hanging around the hallways with the QR code to submit your quote. We currently don't have many submissions. If we do not get at least 100 total quotes, we will not be including quotes in the yearbook. Remember, quotes must be school appropriate and should not exceed 80 characters total. Please see Mr. Sinclair or Mrs. Williamson if you have any questions. 

Please support our JROTC canned food drive by bringing canned foods items to Room B207 or placing them in the collection boxes located at the main entrance and throughout the school building.  If you have, any questions please see Mr. Fisher or Mr. Nieves in B207.

Breaded Chicken Thigh with Garlic Cheddar Biscuit, Mashed Potatoes with Gravy, Steamed Corn, Baked Potato, Fruit and Milk.
